Development of Farmer Exchange Rates in Sulawesi Utara May 2022

Abstract

Farmers' Exchange Rate (NTP) in Sulawesi Utara in May 2022 fell 0.04 percent and became 110.73 compared to April with a value of 110.77. The decrease in NTP is because the Price Index received by Farmers (It) decreases faster than the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib). It fell to reach 0.57 percent, while Ib only fell 0.53 percent.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) was in line with the NTP which showed a decline of 0.79 percent, from 111.84 in April to 110.96 in May.
