Abstract

Conditions in January 2023 Manado Municipality experienced inflation of 0.36 percent, calendar year inflation of 0.36 percent and year on year (yoy) inflation of 4.20 percent. In terms of month-to-month (mtm) inflation, Manado Municipality y ranks 10th in inflation on Sulawesi Island and ranks 55th nationally, while year on year (yoy) Manado Municipality ranks 12th on Sulawesi Island and ranks 3rd 83 nationally.

The biggest contributor to inflation on a year on year (yoy) basis in January was air transportation by 0.9968 percent and the biggest contributor to deflation was kale by 0.1681 percent.

The biggest contributor to inflation on a month to month (mtm) basis in January 2023 was rice by 0.1594 percent, while the biggest contributor to deflation was cayenne pepper by 0.1028 percent.
