Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (Wisman) who came to North Sulawesi through the Sam Ratulangi airport entrance in December 2023 was 3,917 people, a decrease of 15.05 percent compared to November 2023 (M-to-M). Compared to December 2022, an increase of 242.99 percent (Y-on-Y).

Foreign tourists are dominated by Chinese citizens as many as 2,827 people (72.17 percent), Singapore 225 people (5.74 percent), America 109 people (2.78 percent) and Germany 83 people (2.12 percent).
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in North Sulawesi in December 2023 reached 53.26 percent, an increase of 2.60 points compared to the TPK in November 2023 which amounted to 50.66 percent.
The average length of stay (RLMT) of star hotels in December 2023 reached 1.58 days, a decrease of 0.13 points compared to November 2023. Meanwhile, the average length of stay of foreign guests (Foreign RLMT) in star hotels in December 2023 reached 1.79 days, a decrease of 0.35 points compared to November 2023.
