Tourism Development of North Sulawesi Province August 2024

Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (Wisman) who came to North Sulawesi through the Sam Ratulangi airport entrance in August 2024 was 4,436 people, a decrease of 6.47 percent compared to July 2024 (M-to-M). Compared to August 2023, it decreased by 17.81 percent (Y-on-Y).
Foreign tourists are dominated by Chinese citizens as many as 2,831 people (63.82 percent), Germany 257 people (5.79 percent), Singapore 188 people (4.24 percent) and America 111 people (2.50 percent).
The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in North Sulawesi in August 2024 reached 52.18 percent, down 1.80 points compared to the July 2024 TPK of 53.98 percent.
