Abstract

The North Sulawesi Farmer Terms of Trade (NTP) in September 2024 decreased by 0.08 percent to 112.15 compared to August which was worth 112.24. The change in NTP was due to the value of the Price Index received by Farmers (It) experiencing a deeper decline than the value of the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib). The Price Index received by Farmers (It) decreased by 0.68 percent while the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.61 percent.

NTP on a Year to Date (YTD) or calendar year basis decreased by 0.61 percent. Meanwhile, NTP on a Year on Year (YoY) or year-on-year basis has increased. The YoY Farmer Terms of Trade increased by 0.81 percent.
