Tourism Development of North Sulawesi Province September 2024

Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (Wisman) who came to North Sulawesi through the Sam Ratulangi airport entrance in September 2024 was 4,791 people, an increase of 8.00 percent compared to August 2024 (M-to-M). Compared to September 2023, it decreased by 19.10 percent (Y-on-Y).
Foreign tourists are dominated by Chinese citizens as many as 2,616 people (54.60 percent), Malaysia 613 people (12.79 percent), Germany 287 people (5.99 percent), the Netherlands 135 people (2.82 percent) and Singapore 134 people (2.80 percent).
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in North Sulawesi in September 2024 reached 54.04 percent, an increase of 1.86 points compared to the TPK in August 2024 which amounted to 52.18 percent.
The average length of stay (RLMT) of star hotels in September 2024 reached 1.62 days, a decrease of 0.22 points compared to August 2024. Meanwhile, the average length of stay of foreign guests (Foreign RLMT) in star hotels in September 2024 reached 1.76 days, a decrease of 0.34 points compared to August 2024.
