Abstract

The North Sulawesi Farmer Terms of Trade (NTP) in November 2024 increased by 2.86 percent to 116.51 compared to October which was 113.27. The change in NTP was due to the value of the Price Index received by Farmers (It) experiencing a higher increase than the value of the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib). The Price Index received by Farmers (It) increased by 3.05 percent while the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib) increased by only 0.18 percent.

NTP on a Year to Date (YTD) or calendar year basis increased by 3.25 percent. Meanwhile, NTP on a Year on Year (YoY) or year-on-year basis also increased. YoY Farmer Terms of Trade rises 3.00 percent
