Tourism Development of North Sulawesi Province November 2023

Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (Wisman) who came to North Sulawesi through the Sam Ratulangi airport entrance in November 2023 was 4,592 people, down 1.14 percent compared to October 2023 (M-to-M). Compared to November 2022, an increase of 166.82 percent (Y-on-Y).
Foreign tourists are dominated by Chinese citizens as many as 3,397 people (73.98 percent), Germany 174 people (3.79 percent), Singapore 165 people (3.59 percent) and the Netherlands 114 people (2.48 percent).
The Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in North Sulawesi in November 2023 reached 50.66 percent, an increase of 5.17 points compared to the TPK in October 2023 which amounted to 45.49 percent.
The average length of stay (RLMT) of star hotels in November 2023 reached 1.71 days, an increase of 0.01 points compared to October 2023. Meanwhile, the average length of stay of foreign guests (Foreign RLMT) in star hotels in November 2023 reached 2.14 days, an increase of 0.06 points compared to October 2023.
