Abstract

The number of foreign tourists (Wisman) who came to North Sulawesi through the Sam Ratulangi airport entrance in May 2024 was 3,427 people, a decrease of 0.70 percent compared to April 2024 (M-to-M). Compared to May 2023, it decreased by 9.77 percent (Y-on-Y).

Foreign tourists are dominated by Chinese citizens as many as 2,376 people (69.33 percent), Singapore 235 people (6.86 percent), Germany 187 people (5.46 percent) and America 114 people (3.33 percent)

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star-rated hotels in North Sulawesi in May 2024 reached 42.18 percent, an increase of 0.47 points compared to the TPK in April 2024 which amounted to 41.71 percent.
