Development of Farmer Terms of Trade in North Sulawesi Province August 2024

Abstract

The North Sulawesi Farmer Terms of Trade (NTP) in August 2024 decreased by 2.25 percent to 112.24 compared to July which was 114.82. The change in NTP was due to the value of the Price Index received by Farmers (It) decreased while the value of the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib) increased. The Price Index received by Farmers (It) decreased by 1.42 percent while the Price Index paid by Farmers (Ib) increased by 0.85 percent.

NTP on a Year to Date (YTD) or calendar year basis decreased by 0.53 percent. Meanwhile, NTP on a Year on Year (YoY) or year-on-year basis has increased. Farmer Terms of Trade YoY increased by 1.53 percent.
